HOW TO GET HERE:
This page features directions to Durrow.

Durrow is situated in convenient access to all the major entry points into Ireland. Less than 1½ hour from Dublin's suburbs, Durrow is just 20km off the state-of-the-art M7 Motorway to Dublin. Nearby Portlaoise, has a superb road, rail and bus network - one of the best in Ireland. This means that it while staying in Durrow and enjoying the attractions and amenities in County Laois, it is extremely easy to visit other places of interest that Ireland has to offer.

By Air:
All international flights arrive in Dublin Airport which is in easy access to Durrow on the Dublin - Cork motorway. (M7/N8)

By Ferry:
Both Irish Ferries and Stena Line operate routes from France to Ireland and the U.K. to Ireland. (Dublin and Rosslare ports).

By Rail:

By Coach:
Dublin Airport - Durrow bus routes with Aircoach. Contact: Telephone: (01)8447118. Website: www.aircoach.ie
Bus Eireann operate routes from Durrow to Dublin and Cork stopping at various destinations along the M7 and N8 routes such as Portlaoise, Abbeyleix, Cullohill, Cashel, Mitchelstown, Fermoy and many more. Contact: Telephone: (090) 6478792. Website: www.buseireann.ie

By Car:
From Dublin: On the M50, travel to the #9 Exit and proceed down the N7/M7 to Portlaoise (83kms). At Portlaoise M7 there is a large junction for Portlaoise and Cork. Proceed down the N8 south to Abbyeleix. Durrow is next town after Abbeyleix.

From Cork: On the N25 travel to the Jack Lynch Roundabout and take the N8 exit. Proceed for 159kms north along the N8. Durrow is next town located after Cullohill Village.

From Rosslare Europort: On the N25, proceed to New Ross. At New Ross take the R700 via Thomastown and Bennetsbridge to Kilkenny City. At Kilkenny City take the N10 East for 1km. At roundabout take N77 route to Durrow.

Shannon Limerick: On the N18, proceed to Limerick. At Limerick take the N7 route to Borris in Ossary. Pass through Borris in Ossary and 2kms outside village is junction for Durrow. Take the R434 via Ballacolla route to Durrow.
