Hi there again, How are ye keepin. Happy easter to all in durrow. i have just turned the big 30 march 18. It's a milestone, now i know what i want out of life. i can make more decisions about myself. I was just 22 when i worked in the Castle Arms Hotel along with Mayor Sheosamh Murph, Shile Kenna and Ellen O' Sullivan. Don't the year's fly. I heard about Fergal who used to work in the bar in the Castle Arms Hotel. Tragic Accident it was. i was shocked when i heard all about it. Well i sosposse life has to go on. Iam going to enjoy it while i can. Must dash, Keep up the website. I

Keep up the good work Peter, nice to see it, now that I've handed over the reins! I see that www.durrowlaois.com and www.visitdurrow.com finally get people to visit this site, which is cool 'cause they were No.1 in google for keyword DURROW. You should be able to get more photos of Durrow in Snow over the weekend, Saturday looks like giving a lot of snow, and on up to St Patrick's Day, so we should have a white Paddy's day to add to the white Christmas gone. God bless the people on the floats - shivering their ding-dongs off! Brrr.

Are there any restaurants in Durrow, other than the banquet rooms at the Castle? I will be staying at the Castle on May 11 and May 12. I would like to take all of my cousins from Vicarstown out to dinner. Since there are over twenty of them, it's a bit expensive at the Castle ($67 U.S. per person) Are there other places that could accomodate us at a little less expense? Thank you very much.
