ST PATRICK'S DAY

ST. PATRICK’S DAY FESTIVAL 2010 The activities of the day commenced with an Open Air Market on the green at 11am. The non-motorised parade began at 2pm from Erkindale Drive led by two pipers followed by a large selection of floats including; Thierry Henry, Tiger Woods and President Barack Obama, The Harps GAA, The Scouts, Happy Days Creche, Cullohill NS, a re-enactment of Finnegan’s Wake, Woodenbridge Paddlers and many more very imaginative floats. The parade was followed by a Leprechaun Race which created great excitement. There was Face Painting and Tattoos, Bouncing Castles, The Spice Girls and much more to entertain the young people. The lovely weather added to everyone's enjoyment.
